I bought one of these brand new from a local store. The battery lasted about 6 months then died. I thought perhaps this one had been sitting on the shelf for a year or so and that is why it died. I replaced the battery, and 3 months later it died. Thinking that maybe I bought a battery that was sitting on the shelf a long time, I bought another one and tried again. 6 weeks later… it was dead again. I bought another battery, but before putting it in I measured the voltage of the new one and the old one. They were exactly the same. I put the old battery back in, and it lasted a month. So I out the new battery in, and it lasted a month. I put the old battery back in, and it lasted a month. I will never buy a Casio again (it was my first Casio in about 15 years).
